Daily Schedule
Our 2-1/2 year old children are typically experiencing their first exposure to a structured school setting. Emphasis is placed on establishing good social interaction skills, along with elements that provide development in the following areas:
Self-help skills
Fine motor skills
Gross motor skills
Cognitive skills
Expressive language
Receptive language
The daily schedule might include 1) Free play, 2) Circle time, 3) Craft or Unit activities, 4) Upstairs playroom activities, 5) Rest time – listen to music, 6) Snack time, 7) Show and Tell, 8) Movement activity – to music or as exercise, 9) Story time, 10) Good-bye song
